The Bulldogs' Bobby Baird and Martin Bunt both fired scores of 73 to close out the event with the team's best scores of the day.

Baird concluded the three-round tournament with a final score of 224 to lead Samford to its seventh-place finish. Bunt, the Bulldogs' highly-touted sophomore from Pensacola, Fla., turned in a team-best, 54-hole score of 217 to lead Samford's JV squad to a ninth-place finish.

In the playoff, both competitors shot par on the first hole, before Wilcox ended up winning the event on the next hole, the 18th.

Samford's Bunt earned a ninth-place finish in the tournament and tallied a 54-hole score of 217 (73-71-73). Baird then tallied a 20th-place finish (224), while the Bulldogs' Ian Cutting (225) and Houston Hough (225) followed in a tie for 26th place.
