The Samford University men's tennis team was defeated by the 69th-ranked Furman Paladins on Friday, 7-0, in a Southern Conference contest held at the Mickel Tennis Center.
With the loss, Samford (6-14-1, 3-5-1 SoCon) suffered its third-straight defeat and dropped to 3-5 in road matches this season. Furman extended its winning streak against conference opponents to 22-straight matches.
The Samford men's tennis team will next be in action Saturday at 10 a.m. (CDT) as the Bulldogs travel to Spartanburg, S.C., for their final match of the regular season against the Wofford Terriers.
