BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Bullpup Kids' Club held a behind-the-scenes athletics tour Monday evening. Over 60 members, parents and guests participated in the event.

The members and guests received a tour of new Cooney Family Field House where football players showed off the locker room and weight room.

Then, the members stopped by the Pete Hanna Center where they got a glimpse of the volleyball, soccer, women's basketball and men's basketball locker rooms.

The evening concluded with a pizza party and visits from baseball and softball student-athletes, along with a surprise visit from Spike.

The next Bullpup Kids' Club event is scheduled for Saturday, September 19. All Kids Club members are invited to tailgating fun prior to the Bulldogs' home game against Miles College. The Kids Club tailgate begins at 12:30 p.m. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.

It's not too late to sign up for the Bullpup Kids Club! Memberships are only $20 and include a t-shirt, membership card, free admission to all Samford sporting events, birthday card, free ice cream from Hamburger Heaven and special events like the athletics tour.
