BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Samford football players Jacob Kirschenbaum and Alvin Hines visited Ms. Cathy Wall's class at Vestavia Hills Elementary East on Monday, Sept. 14.

Kirchenbaum and Hines entertained questions fielded by the third graders.

The student-athletes also took time to read a Dr. Suess book to the class.

"Our class really enjoyed Alvin and Jacob visiting us," Wall said. "Their comments were very interesting and inspiring. The guys encouraged the students to learn to read and perform well in school! It was a wonderful visit and we truly appreciate their time!"
