BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -
The Samford women's golf team will begin play in its second tournament of the 2010 spring season Monday at 8:30 a.m. (CST) as the Bulldogs travel to Mobile, Ala., for the USA Lady Jaguar Invitational to be held March 1-2 at the Azalea City Golf Club (par 72, 6,051 yards).

True freshman Anna Heim, Samford's talented newcomer from Lafayette, La., posted a 78 and concluded the tournament with a final score of 156. She finished the event ranked 12th in the individual standings.
As a team, Samford carded a 36-hole score of 631 (312-319) to finish third in the tournament. Stetson University defended its championship title with a final score of 610 (305-305), while Cincinnati finished second at 625 (310-315).
