BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Samford University men's golf team will continue play in its 2010 spring season this week as the Bulldogs are slated to compete in the 22nd Annual Coca-Cola Wofford Invitational being held Monday and Tuesday at the Country Club of Spartanburg.

The field in this week's tournament will consist of the following 13 teams: Samford, Appalachian State, Charleston Southern, East Tennessee State, Elon, Gardner-Webb, High Point, Presbyterian, Radford, Stetson, USC Upstate, Winthrop and Wofford.

The teams will begin play with 36 holes Monday and then add the final 18 holes Tuesday.

In its most recent outing, Samford placed 13th at the 41st Annual Furman Intercollegiate which was played March 20-21 at the Furman Golf Course in Greenville, S.C. The Bulldogs' Casey O'Toole posted a 54-hole score of 220 (75-73-72) and finished in a tie for eighth place with Wofford's Mark Joye.
