On the field Miller has been one of the leaders of Samford's 2010 team, which currently has a record of 25-18 overall and 13-7 in the Southern Conference. He has started 39 games in center field and is batting .348 as Samford's lead-off hitter. Miller also has nine doubles, two triples, six home runs and 29 RBI on the season.
