BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Samford football team, along with the teams from UAB and Miles College, participated in a city-wide pep rally hosted by Mayor William Bell Friday evening at Linn Park in downtown Birmingham.

The Samford players, coaches and cheerleaders attended the pep rally. Head Coach Pat Sullivan and Vice President Randy Pittman spoke on Samford's behalf.
