BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Samford University Athletics Department announced today that 2011-12 basketball tickets are now on sale to the general public. To order tickets, Bulldog fans can contact the ticket office by phone at (205) 726-DOGS, visit the office in person at the Pete Hanna Center (Ground Level-Athletics Administration Suite), or log on to www.samfordsports.com/tickets, 24-hours-a-day to order single game tickets online.

As we head into the 2011-12 campaign, Samford basketball brings an exciting slate of hardwood action to the Pete Hanna Center and the best way to catch every minute of the action is with a season ticket package.

To make things simple for every basketball fan in Birmingham, the Samford Athletics Ticket Office is offering a 2-for-1 season ticket package that includes a seat for both the men's basketball home games and the women's basketball home games for only $100. That includes all 10 non-conference matchups and 19 Southern Conference games for just $100.

"Both our men's and women's programs have competed at the highest level of college basketball in March at the NCAA Tournament and it is a great deal to offer the chance to see these two great teams for one low price," said Michael McGreevey, Director of Ticket Sales and Customer Service. "Samford basketball provides an exciting entertainment option for Birmingham sports fans and families all winter long, so we hope to see everyone at the Pete Hanna Center."

Fans can have their pick of General Admission seats or Bulldog Club Reserved packages to secure their place in the Pete Hanna Center for all 23 home dates of the 2011-12 seasons. Bulldog Club Reserved tickets require a tax-deductible donation to the Bulldog Club and can provide pre-game hospitality, parking, apparel, and other amenities for your support.
