2011 College Sports Madness FCS All-America Teams

Samford junior place-kicker Cameron Yaw was named third-team All-American by College Sports Madness when the website released its postseason Football Championship Subdivision awards recently.
During the 2011 season, Yaw led the SoCon and ranked second in the nation in field goals per game (2.09), and he ranked second in the SoCon in field goal percentage (82.1%).
For the season, Yaw made 23-of-28 field goal attempts, including a long kick of 46 yards. He made 32-of-33 extra-point attempts as well. Yaw also handled kickoffs, averaging 62.7 yards on 64 kickoffs this season.
For his career, Yaw ranks second in school history in scoring with 230 points, trailing only the 256 points scored by Michael O'Neal from 1989 to 1992. He has made 52-of-69 field goal attempts in his three seasons at Samford.
