SOUTH BEND, Ind. ---- Four Bulldog track and field team members are representing Samford this weekend at the Alex Wilson Invitational hosted by Notre Dame. Kyle Kirby and Michael Seaman competed Friday, and Hillary Neal and Lauren D'Alessio will compete Saturday for the Bulldogs.

Kirby set a new school record in the weight throw on Friday, recording a toss of 62-09.50 to earn fifth place in the competition. The record is Kirby's second straight and his fourth of the season.

Seaman earned fourth place in the pole vault with a mark of 16-04.00.

D'Alessio will run in the women's 3000 meters Saturday morning at 11:30 a.m. She will then join Neal in the 800-meter run which will start at approximately 12:50 p.m.
