BIRMINGHAM, Ala.— Samford Athletics is excited to announce a list of 20 things to enhance your game-day experience at Seibert Stadium in 2014.
 
"Samford is a great place to watch a college football game and we are committed to providing a first class game-day experience for all our fans," Bo Kerr, Sr. Associate AD for External Operations said. "It's something we talk about year-round because we are constantly looking for ways to improve the game-day experience.  This year is no exception and we look forward to implementing a number of new initiatives."
 
Below is a list of 20 initiatives to enhance the game-day experience during the 2014 football season.

2014 NEW FAN INITIATIVES
1. Student led pep rallies in the stadium prior to the Stillman and Wofford games.
2. A larger more interactive pep rally on the Quad prior to the Bulldog Walk, which takes place 2 hours and 15 minutes before kickoff.
3. More cheerleader and dance team interaction with fans including have a "mic man."
4. Relocating the student section to the east side of the stadium to create more student seating and reunite the student body with the marching band.
5. New student entrance located at Gate B.
6. Free admission for kids 12 & under with a paid adult courtesy of Alabama Power.
7. Free Jr. Bulldog Club.
8. Expanded Coca-Cola Kids Zone complete with inflatables, Spike's Lemonade Stand and appearances by the cheerleaders and Rex the live bulldog mascot.
9. Ability for fans to tweet song requests to be played during the game.
10. Misting station located near Gate B.
11. Complementary bottled water at the First Aid station courtesy of Mountain High Outfitters and St. Vincent's Health System.
12. Recycling bins placed at the east and west side gates.
13. New playing surface with redesigned end zones.
14. Resurfaced sideline areas.
15. Enhanced hospitality village for Bulldog Club Priority Program members including climate controlled environment, additional HD televisions, upgraded catering and expanded hours of operation.
16. Military and First Responders Appreciation Game set for September 11 vs. Stillman.
17. Post-game fireworks on September 11 vs. Stillman.
18. Samford will recognize its 2014 SoCon Track & Field Championship teams at the VMI game Sept. 20.
19. Ticket sales at Gate K.
20. Additional customer service representatives located at Gate B.
