BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Samford University announced the members of the 2015-2016 dance team following auditions on April 25.
 
"We are so excited to welcome new team members to the Bulldog Dancers family," Bulldog Dancers Captain Margie Terp said. "I hope this year will be the best yet as we transition to join Samford Athletics. The team's energy is already there and we are so ready to get started in the fall."
 
The 10-member squad is made up of six returning team members and five incoming freshmen. The Bulldog Dancers perform at all home football and basketball games throughout the year.
 
The Bulldog Dancers will start practice August 3 to prepare for the upcoming season. The Bulldog Dancers will kick off their 2015-16 season at the football team's season-opener Thursday, September 3 against Central Arkansas. For ticket information, please call 205-726-DOGS.
