FINAL RESULTS

OXFORD, Miss.—The Samford women's golf team finished 12^th at the Rebel Intercollegiate, played Friday through Sunday at the Ole Miss Golf Course.

Samford shot a three-day score of 924 (313-310-301) to place 12^th in the 15-team field. Troy won the event, finishing with a score of 871 (297-282-292). The host team, Ole Miss, came in second, with a final score of 888 (303-299-286).

Individually for Samford, junior Haley Harrington led the way, finishing in a tie for 21^st in the 89-player field. Harrington shot a three-round total of 227 (77-75-75). Freshman Emily Uhland tied for 36^th, with a score of 230 (76-78-76). Redshirt freshman Madeline Davis finished in a tie for 39^th, at 231 (79-76-76).

Samford freshman Anna Buchanan tied for 69^th, firing a three-round score of 237 (82-81-74). Sophomore Haley Wagner tied for 83^rd, finishing with a score of 243 (81-82-80).

Troy's Fatima Cano earned individual medalist honors, with a score of 209 (71-68-75). Murray State's Moa Folke came in second individually, finishing with a three-round total of 214 (71-68-75).

Samford will wrap up the 2015-16 season when the Bulldogs compete at the Southern Conference Championships, April 10-12 in Pooler, Ga.
