Women's Golf Wraps Up Play In Bill Berg Invitational

HAYESVILLE, N.C.—The Samford women's golf team wrapped up play in the Bill Berg Invitational with Tuesday's final round at The Ridges Country Club (Par 72, 6,057 yds.).

Samford finished ninth in the event. The Bulldogs posted a three-round score of 938 (303-309-326). Richmond won the tournament, finishing with a score of 910 (302-309-299). Winthrop came in second at 924 (318-305-301).

Samford was led individually by junior Madeline Davis, finishing tied for fifth with a three-round total of 225 (69-74-82). Freshman Mary Kate Horton tied for 17^th at 232 (75-75-82). For full results, click here: FULL FINAL RESULTS.

Samford will return to action on Oct. 30-31, when the Bulldogs compete in the Idle Hour Invitational in Mercer, Ga.
