LEXINGTON, Va. – The 20
th-ranked Samford football team will play at the VMI Keydets Saturday at 12:30 p.m. (CT) at VMI's Foster Stadium.
Samford enters the game with a record of 3-2 overall and 1-1 in SoCon play so far this season. The Bulldogs are coming off a 35-14 win over then-11
th-ranked The Citadel last Saturday.
VMI is currently 0-5 overall and 0-2 in SoCon games. The Keydets are coming off a 49-14 loss at Mercer last Saturday.
Samford and VMI are meeting for just the fifth time in the history of the two programs. Samford has won each of the four previous meetings. The teams last met on Oct. 15, 2016, with Samford earning a 55-21 victory at Seibert Stadium.
