MACON, Ga. – The Samford women's golf team is set to compete in the Brickyard Collegiate, Sunday through Tuesday at the Brickyard Golf Club (Par 72, 6,155 yards).
The teams will play one round each day, Sunday through Tuesday, with tee times beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Joining Samford and the host Mercer in the tournament will be Chattanooga, ETSU, Florida State, Jacksonville, Kennesaw State, LSU, Marshall, North Florida, Old Dominion, Southern Mississippi, Troy, Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech.
Samford's playing five for the tournament will be Crockett Floyd, Emily Uhland, Madeline Davis, Mary Kate Horton and Kate Collom.
Floyd enters the tournament with an 80.33 stroke average in 18 rounds of golf so far this season. Uhland has a 77.87 average over 15 rounds, while Davis averages 76.25 in 20 rounds of work.
Horton comes into the weekend with a stroke average of 78.44 over 18 rounds. Collom averages 79.19 in 21 rounds so far this season.
