With the win, Samford improves to 2-2 on the season. North Alabama falls to 0-4 with the loss.

"We did a good job of taking care of business today," Samford head coach Rahim Esmail said. "It was our first day outdoors and the guys did a pretty good job of adapting. The team did a good job getting off to quick starts in the singles today, which helped a lot with momentum. We are looking forward to competing again next weekend."
