BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford women's tennis team picked up a 6-1 win over UT Martin Thursday afternoon at the Samford Tennis Center.
 
With the win, Samford improves to 4-1. UT Martin falls to 1-1 with the loss.
 
Samford swept the three doubles matches to pick up the first point of the match.
 
UT Martin picked up a win at No. 1 singles for the Skyhawks' lone win of the match. Samford then swept the singles matches on courts No. 2 through No. 6 to secure the 6-1 win.
 
Samford will host South Alabama Sunday afternoon. The match is scheduled for a 12 p.m. start from the Samford Tennis Center, and admission is FREE!
