BIRMINGHAM, Ala.— The Samford football team program has announced an upcoming two-game series with former Ohio Valley Conference rival UT Martin.
 
The teams will play on Sept. 11, 2021 in Martin, Tenn., and Samford will host the Skyhawks on Nov. 18, 2023 at Seibert Stadium.
 
Samford and UT Martin have met 19 times, with Samford owning a 15-3-1 series advantage. The first meeting in the series came in 1958, and the teams' most recent encounter was in 2007.
 
Samford and UT Martin were co-members of the Ohio Valley Conference from 2003 until Samford left to join the Southern Conference prior to the 2008 season.
