BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - With the start of the Bucky McMillan era set to begin on Wednesday, Nov. 25, Samford University announced an opponent change for the season-opener, as the Bulldogs will now host Greenville University. Tipoff is set for 7 PM at the Pete Hanna Center. Samford was originally scheduled to play Martin Methodist. 

"We're excited to get the season underway on Wednesday, Nov. 25 versus Greenville University," McMillan said. "I want to thank coach George Barber and his staff for the willingness to schedule this game on such short notice. I want to encourage everyone to come out and support your Bulldogs!"

Greenville, an NCAA D-III institution, finished the 2019-20 season 14-13 overall while averaging an NCAA leading 132.6 points per game.
