OXFORD, Miss. – The Samford women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision at Ole Miss Saturday afternoon.

With the loss, Samford falls to 4-3 on the season. Ole Miss improves to 7-2 with the win.

The Rebels earned doubles wins on the No. 1 and No. 2 courts to pick up the first point of the match. The match on the No 3 doubles court was not finished.

In singles, Samford earned wins on the No. 5 and No. 6 courts, with Arianna Beltrame and Holly Horsfall both earning victories. Ole Miss, however, won on the No. 1, No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4 singles courts to earn the 5-2 win.

Samford will host UAB Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Samford Tennis Center.
