MOBILE, Ala. – The Samford women's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision at South Alabama Saturday afternoon.
 
With the loss, Samford falls to 5-5 on the season. South Alabama improves to 6-6 with the win.
 
South Alabama took the doubles point, by winning the matches on the No. 1 and No. 2 courts. The match on the No. 3 doubles court was not finished.
 
The Jaguars also claimed singles wins on the No. 1, No. 3 and No. 6 courts to close out the 4-0 win. The singles matches at No. 2, No. 4 and No. 5 were not finished.
 
Samford will play at Troy on Thursday, March 5. The match is set for a 2 p.m. start from Troy, Ala.
