CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Samford men's tennis team earned a 5-2 win at The Citadel Sunday afternoon in Southern Conference action.
With the win, Samford improves to 5-6 overall and 1-2 in Southern Conference play. The Citadel falls to 5-12 overall and 0-3 in league play.
Samford won all three doubles matches to earn the first point of the contest.
In singles, Samford picked up wins at No. 1, No. 2, No. 3 and No. 6. The Citadel won the matches at No. 4 and No. 5 to finalize the 5-2 Samford win.
The Bulldogs will host Wofford March 21 at 1 p.m. at the Samford Tennis Center.
