
Track And Field Breaks Program Record At Jaguar Invite

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Samford track and field shined with a record breaking day at South Alabama's Jaguar Invite, Sunday.
The men's 4x400 meter relay team of Warren Fitzpatrick, Michael McMahan, Jose Penalver, and Ty Kimberlin broke the program record in the event posting a time of 3:16.85.
Penalver also medaled in the men's 800m run with a meet record time of 1:50.42, which ranks second all-time among the Samford program. Amanda Dumar claimed the top honors in the women's 400m dash (57.13), while Morayo Bhadmos continued her dominance in the women's triple jump (12.42m).
Women's Track:
The Bulldogs are back in action this coming weekend for the Samford Invite #2 at the Birmingham CrossPlex on February 12-13.
