Women’s Golf Places Seventh At Chattanooga Classic

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Samford women's golf team finished seventh of 13 teams at the Chattanooga Classic, played Monday and Tuesday at Black Creek Club (Par 72, 6,158 yds.).

As a team, Samford fired a three-round score of 915 (307-308-300). ETSU won the event, with a final score of 887 (294-296-297).

Individually, Samford was led by Sophie Membrino, who tied for 15^th out of 71 players with a three-round score of 228 (77-75-76). Bailey Dunstan (78-76-77) and Allison Dusek (79-78-74) both tied for 26^th with identical scores of 231.

Mary Kate Horton finished in a tie for 36^th at 233 (77-83-73). Kelley Topiwala tied for 42^nd with a score of 235 (75-79-81).

The Samford women's golf team will next play in the Murray State Jan Weaver Invitational, April 9-10 in Murray, Ky.
