Women’s Golf Sends Two Individuals To Murray State

MURRAY, Ky. – The Samford women's golf team will send a pair of individuals to the Murray State Jan Weaver Invitational, Friday and Saturday at Miller Memorial Golf Club (Par 72, 6,024 yds.).
Freshmen Bailey Dunstan and Allison Howard will compete as individuals in the event. Samford will not have a team score or finish in the event but Dunstan and Howard will place individually.

FOCAL POINT
- This will mark the final competition for Samford before the SoCon Championships, Apr. 19-20.
BULLDOGS TO WATCH
- Bailey Dunstan and Allison Howard will be the only Bulldogs competing in the event.
- Dunstan leads the team with a 77.00 stroke average in eight rounds so far this spring.
- Howard has played in two rounds this spring, and has averaged 80.00.
NEWS & NOTES
- Competing teams in the event will be Murray State, Central Arkansas, Eastern Kentucky, Evansville, Austin Peay, Dayton, Seton Hall, Belmont, Georgia State, Southern Illinois, Tennessee Tech and Bradley.
- The participants will play 36 holes Friday and 18 holes Saturday.
