BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Samford women's tennis dropped a home match with Tulane, Saturday, ending the Bulldogs two-match winning streak.

With the loss, the Bulldogs move to a record of 6-6, while Tulane improved its record to 8-3 on the season.
Rouxanne Janse Van Rensburg continued her winning ways earning a point for the Bulldogs at the No. 1 singles with a two-set win over Mary Caroline Meredith of Tulane, 6-3, 7-5. Van Rensburg has tallied nine wins in this young 2021 season with an overall record of 9-3.
The Bulldogs are looking to bounce back tomorrow, Sunday, Mar. 7, with a match against Bellarmine University at 2 p.m. at the Samford Tennis Center.
