BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford men's and women's track and field teams opened the 2022-23 indoor season by competing in the BSC Icebreaker Friday at the Birmingham CrossPlex.
A total of seven Samford student-athletes placed in the top three of their respective events. Three Bulldogs,
Ty Kimberlin,
Titus Moore and
Jed Sisco won their events. Kimberlin won the men's long jump, with a leap of 7.23 meters. Moore finished first in the men's 60-meter hurdles at 7.96, while Sisco won the men's pole vault, with a vault of 4.85 meters.

Samford will next compete in the Vulcan Invite, hosted by UAB, Jan. 13, at the Birmingham CrossPlex.
