MOBILE, Ala. – The Samford men's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision at South Alabama Sunday afternoon.
With the loss, Samford falls to 0-5 on the young season. South Alabama improves to 5-1 with the win.
South Alabama won the doubles matches at No. 1 and No. 2 to earn the first point of the contest. The match at No. 3 doubles was not finished.
In singles, the Jaguars won at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 to finish off the 4-0 victory. The singles matches on the No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 courts were not finished.
Samford will next play host to Tennessee State on Saturday, Feb. 12. The match is set for a 10 a.m. start from the Samford Tennis Center.
