BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford women's tennis team picked up a 6-1 win over Jacksonville State Saturday afternoon at the Samford Tennis Center.
Samford improves to 6-5 with the win. Jacksonville State falls to 4-7 with the loss.
Samford won all three doubles matches to take the first point of the match.
In singles, Samford earned wins at No. 1, No. 2, No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 to take the 6-1 win.
Samford will play Appalachian State on Wednesday, March 9. The match is set for an 11 a.m. (CT) start from Charleston, S.C.
