AUBURN, Ala. – The Samford men's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision at Auburn Sunday evening at the Yarbrough Tennis Center.
With the loss, Samford falls to 5-13 on the season. Auburn improves to 18-7 with the win.
In doubles, Auburn won on the No. 1 and No. 3 courts to secure the first point of the match. The match at No. 2 doubles was tied at 4-4 but was unfinished once the doubles point was decided.
In singles, Auburn picked up wins at the No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 positions to wrap up the 4-0 win. The singles matches at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 6 were unfinished.
Samford will wrap up its 2022 regular season by hosting Mercer on Saturday, April 16. The match is set for a 1 p.m. start from the Samford Tennis Center.
