JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The Samford women's tennis team fell at ETSU, 6-1, in Southern Conference action Sunday afternoon.
 
With the loss, Samford falls to 10-7 overall and 3-1 in Southern Conference play. ETSU improves to 14-7 overall and 5-0 in league action.
 
Samford's Sofia Zaprianov defeated Daniela Rivera, 6-4, 6-2 at No. 5 singles. The Bucs, however, won the other five singles matches and took the doubles point for the 6-1 win.
 
Samford will play at Furman on Saturday, April 9. The match is set for a 12 p.m. (CT) start from Greenville, S.C.
