GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Samford women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision at 36^th-ranked Furman Saturday afternoon.
 
With the loss, Samford falls to 10-8 overall and 3-2 in Southern Conference play. Furman improves to 16-6 overall and 5-0 in SoCon action.
 
Furman took all three doubles matches for the first point of the day. The Paladins then took all six singles matches to close out the 7-0 win.
 
Samford will play at Wofford Sunday. The match is set for a 12 p.m. (CT) start from Spartanburg, S.C.
