AUBURN, Ala. – The Samford men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision at Auburn Thursday afternoon at the Yarbrough Tennis Center.

With the loss, Samford falls to 0-2 on the season. Auburn improves to 3-0 with the win.

Auburn opened the match by winning the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches to earn the first point of the contest. The match at No. 1 singles was not finished, with Mohammed Ali Bellalouna and Maxwell Giddens were tied with Finn Murgett and Raul Dobai, 4-4 with the doubles point was decided.

Auburn then won each of the six singles matches to take the 7-0 win.

Samford will host Kennesaw State on Saturday, Jan. 21. The match is set for a 1 p.m. start from the Samford Tennis Center. A full list of Thursday's results is below.
