FORSYTH, Ga. – The Samford women's golf team wrapped up its fall season by tying for first place in the Mercer Invitational, held Monday and Tuesday at River Forest (Par 72, 6,040 yards).

"This was a great way to end the fall," Samford head coach Joe Davidson said. "I'm proud of how hard the ladies worked. I'm pleased with the way we improved throughout the fall, and this should be a great springboard into the spring season."

As a team, Samford finished with a three-round total of 878 (296-282-300) to tie with the host school, Mercer for the tournament championship. This was Samford's fourth and final tournament of the fall season.
