BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Belmont Saturday evening at the Samford Tennis Center.
With the loss, Samford falls to 7-8 on the season. Belmont improves to 9-5 with the win.
Samford's lone win in the match came at No. 1 singles where
Mohammed Ali Bellalouna defeated Marko Ilic, 4-6, 6-1, 6-2. Belmont won the doubles point and the other five singles matches to earn the 6-1 win.
Samford will next play at Wofford on Sunday, March 26. The match is set for an 11 a.m. start from Spartanburg, S.C.
