TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Samford men's and women's track and field teams had another strong showing against stellar competition at the Crimson Tide Invitational, held Friday and Saturday at Sam Bailey Stadium.
Samford student-athletes placed in the top three in 10 different events at the meet. Bulldogs earned a pair of event titles with
McKenzie Hogue winning the women's 1500-meter run with a time of 4:24.88, and
Tripp Marcus finishing first in the men's javelin throw with a toss of 67.11 meters.

Samford will next compete in the Southern Conference Outdoor Championships. The meet is set for May 8-9 in Cullowhee, N.C.
