Samford Women’s Tennis Earns ITA Academic Honors

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford women's tennis team was named an All-Academic Team by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, and four Bulldogs earned Scholar Athlete distinction when the ITA announced its annual academic awards Monday.
In addition to the team award, Samford's Ally Hayduk, Samantha Maras, Lindsay Song and Lauren Waddles were all named ITA Scholar Athletes.
To be named an All-Academic Team, a squad must post at least a 3.2 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale. For individuals, to earn Scholar Athlete honors, you must have a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale for the current academic year.
