BIRMINGHAM, Ala.-- The sixth-annual Samford University Athletics Giving Day is set for Wednesday, Nov. 13. 
 
Athletics Giving Day was established in 2019 as an opportunity for former Samford student-athletes, alumni and friends to make a gift directly to the programs of their choice.

"The SU Athletics Giving Day is a big deal for us," Samford Executive Associate AD Corey Green said. "It generates much needed revenue that supports each program.   We also engage new donors and former student athletes in a unified and focused one day event that really works well.  No matter the size of the gift, each donation helps us continue to provide our teams with the resources needed to win at a high level in competition and in life while drawing more people to our great university.  We sincerely appreciate you for partnering with us and investing in our student athletes."
 
Last year, a total of 313 donors gave during the day. The total amount raised on last year's Giving Day was $121,867.
