KENNESAW, Ga. – The Samford men's tennis team dropped a 4-3 decision at Kennesaw State Wednesday afternoon.
With the loss, Samford fell to 3-4 on the young season. Kennesaw State improved its record to 3-2 with the win.
Samford earned the win at the No. 2 singles position where
Sandeep Mohandoss defeated Harvey Conway, 6-2, 5-7, 6-4. At the No. 3 singles spot
Darcy Nicholls earned a 6-3, 6-1 win over Hugo Salmeron.
Sebastian Harrison defeated Joel Gibson, 6-1, 6-4 on the No. 6 singles court.
Kennesaw State took the doubles point and the wins at the No. 1, No. 4 and No. 5 singles spots to take the 4-3 win.
Samford will next host Birmingham-Southern on Saturday, Feb. 17. The match is set for a 1 p.m. start from the Samford Tennis Center.
