AIKEN, S.C. – The Samford men's golf team tied for ninth at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Invitational, played Monday and Tuesday at the Palmetto Golf Club (Par 70, 6,617 yards).
As a team, Samford finished with a three-round score of 878 (296-288-294), tying the Bulldogs with Maryland for ninth in the 15-team field. Davidson won the event with a final score of 845 (287-279-279).
Individually for Samford,
Davis Woodliff tied for 15
th in the 75-player field, posting a three-round score of 215 (69-72-74).
Damin Strydom tied for 31
st with a score of 220 (76-72-72), while
Taylor Kuehn tied for 41
st at 222 (74-70-78).
Andrew Sullivan placed 44
th with a score of 223 (77-74-72), while
Craig Sanders tied for 64
th at 233 (80-76-77).
Samford will next compete in the ECU Intercollegiate, March 18-19, in Greenville, N.C.
