JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The Samford women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision at 60
th-ranked ETSU Sunday afternoon.
With the loss, Samford fell to 7-11 overall and 3-3 in Southern Conference play. ETSU improved to 13-7 overall and 6-0 in SoCon play.
Samford's lone point in the match came at No. 4 singles where
Noelle Mauro defeated Jana Rovira, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4. The Bucs swept the rest of the singles matches as well as all three doubles matches to take the 6-1 win.
Samford will next host Alabama A&M on Thursday, April 11. The match is set for a 1 p.m. start from the Samford Tennis Center.
