BIRMINGHAM, Ala. –The Samford football team's Southern Conference opener at Furman, scheduled for Saturday afternoon, has been postponed due to the effects of Hurricane Helene on the Greenville, S.C., area.
 
Further details regarding a makeup date will be announced at a later date.
