BIRMINGHAM, Ala. –The Samford football program has scheduled a pair of games with UAB, one for the 2026 season and another for the 2027 season, the schools jointly announced Thursday.
 
The teams will play Oct. 3, 2026, and again on Sept. 25, 2027, with both games to be played at UAB's Protective Stadium.
 
Samford and UAB have met just one previous time in football. The only previous meeting came on Oct. 31, 1992, when UAB was a Division III program. Samford won that earlier meeting by a score of 49-3 at Samford.
 
The Samford football team has two games remaining on the 2025 schedule. The Bulldogs will play at Austin Peay on Nov. 15 at 1 p.m. and at Texas A&M on Nov. 22 at 11 a.m.
