NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Samford women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision at Lipscomb Friday afternoon.
 
With the loss, Samford dropped its season record to 4-2. Lipscomb improved to 4-1 with the win.
 
In doubles, Lipscomb won on the No. 1 and No. 2 courts to secure the first point of the match. At No. 3 doubles, Samford's Eleni Liakonis and Meredith Taylor defeated Sofiia Zhylchuk and Mariia Dolzhenko, 6-2.
 
Lipscomb won on all six singles courts to close out the 7-0 win.
 
Samford will play host to Belmont on Saturday, Feb. 8. The match is set for a 1 p.m. start from the Samford Tennis Center.
