CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Samford women's tennis fell at Charleston Southern, 4-0, Thursday afternoon.
 
With the loss, Samford's record fell to 7-7 on the season. Charleston Southern improved its record to 9-4 with the win.
 
Charleston Southern won on the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles courts to capture the first point of the match. The Bucs then won singles matches at No. 6, No. 4 and No. 1 to close out the 4-0 win.
 
Next up, Samford will open Southern Conference play at UNC Greensboro on Saturday, March 22. The match is set for a 12 p.m. (CT) start from Greensboro, N.C.
