CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Samford women's tennis team fell to ETSU, 4-0, in the quarterfinals of the Southern Conference Tournament Thursday afternoon at The Champions Club.
 
With the loss, Samford ended its season with a record of 9-14. ETSU improved to 13-8 and the Bucs advanced to Friday's semifinal round.
 
ETSU won at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to take the early 1-0 lead. The Bucs then took the singles matches at No. 6, No. 1 and No. 5 to wrap up the 4-0 win.
