JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The Samford men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision at ETSU Friday afternoon.
With the loss, Samford fell to 15-5 overall and 5-1 in Southern Conference play. ETSU improved to 10-6 overall and 4-1 in league play.
ETSU won the doubles matches at No. 2 and No. 3 to take the first point of the contest.
At No. 1 singles, Samford's
Sandeep Mohandoss defeated Peter Kalocsai, 6-1, 6-4. ETSU, however, won the other five singles matches to take the 6-1 win.
Samford will wrap up its regular season with a match at Mercer on Saturday, April 12. The match is set for a 10 a.m. (CT) start from Macon, Ga.
