GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Samford volleyball team fell to UNC Greensboro 3-2 (26-24, 20-25, 21-25, 25-22, 12-15) on Saturday Afternoon at Bodford Arena.
With the loss, Samford falls to 12-13 overall and 9-7 in SoCon play, while UNCGÂ improves to 19-8 and 12-4 in SoCon action.
Brianna Hamilton recorded her sixth double-double of the season with 17 kills and 18 digs while having a .292 hitting percentage. Ally Cordes recorded 26 kills on the afternoon while having a .311 hitting percentage. Maggie Kalisz recorded 15 kills and also had 27 assists. Janie Snitchcomb recorded four blocks.
For the Spartans, Allie Sweet lead the way with 33 kills. While Chloe Nussbaum recorded a team leading 28 digs.
Samford travels to Furman to close out the regular season next weekend in Greenville S.C.
